  ACCESS UK

Through our ACCESS UK service, International Trade Team Partners offer a range of support services for exporters to the UK, from storage and distribution of your goods or samples to full account management of your potential or existing customers.

Professional Support Services for Exporters to the UK

Our professional support services for exporters to the UK are offered on a number of levels. Here are some examples of how we can help your company export successfully to the UK:

* Storage and distribution of goods or samples to potential or existing customers in the UK
* Following up sales leads
* Generating sales leads
* Responding to enquiries
* Organising targeted press campaigns
* Identifying, establishing, supporting and motivating local agents
* Organising the production and distribution of promotional material

Whether you choose some or all the above export support services (or any additional services you may require), our purpose is to act as an extension of your own export department to turn sales leads for your products in the UK into actual sales.

Why Access UK?
From our own years of experience opening up overseas markets for our UK company clients, we are well aware of the need to get samples, trial orders or brochures to new customers quickly and without breaking the bank (or the samples), and then to have someone to do the leg-work to turn leads into sales. How often do you return from an export sales mission thinking that it would be great to have left a big box of stuff behind that someone else could distribute for you in response to sales leads or follow-ups? As far as the UK goes, we now offer that service.

Is Access UK just about storage and distribution of samples in the UK?
It can be if that is all you require from us, but you can also use us as on-going support for your export campaign to the UK. How often do sales leads go cold through lack of contact? We can avoid this by sustaining regular dialogue (either face-to-face or via phone) to ensure that your products or services are not simply forgotten.

Does Access UK mean an exclusive agreement?
It is important to stress that this is not an issue. We only act as a supporting agent for your activities here in the UK. We are not a customer so you are free to deal with whoever you want - our role is to provide you with the support you need to turn potential agents or end buyers into customers. As an example, we could organise a series of sales meetings prior to your own representative's arrival in the UK. We could attend these meetings with you if you want, or you could just go on your own. After your representative returns home to your country we are still here to help follow up with any action that is required to ensure a successful outcome to the sales mission. Another example might be if you are planning to attend an exhibition in the UK you can send your products to us in advance and we will arrange delivery of as many items as you want to your stand. The rest you can leave with us to service the leads or sales you generate.

What does it cost and how does it work?

Our support services are tailored to the specific requirements of each client and the fees depend on the degree of our involvement. We normally work on an agreed retainer fee for a set number of days work per month, but contracts can be flexible depending on what you need us to do. Storage of a "reasonable" quantity of samples is included in the fee, but packing and distribution costs using established national carriers such as DHL, City Link, The Royal Mail, etc., are billed as extra. Additional expenses such as travel, client entertainment and so on are also billed as extra, but we will always agree these with you in advance.

To get a detailed quotation please call us on +44 1798 874925 or click here to email to let us know what type of product/products you are thinking of sending to the UK, an outline of your export plans and what kind of support you are looking for from us here in the UK. We will then come back to you with an initial proposal - it's as simple as that.
