We probably know more about export grants for UK Businesses than anyone
- we also know what qualifies, what doesn’t, who offers them and
how to get them.
There are grants ranging from £1500 to £60,000 for certain
export activities but it is not a free for all; there are strict criteria
concerning, for example, company size, intended use for the money, status
and nature of the business.
Although most aid is made available through the provision of heavily subsidised
or even free services, there is a limited number of schemes providing
real cash assistance. In the majority of cases, any grant application
has to be approved before the project is commenced so it is vital to seek
our advice first.
New to Exporting? Then the flagship scheme of UK Trade & Investment,
the British Government’s exporting arm, could be just what you need.
Under this programme you can obtain advice, guidance and up to £3000
of matched funding - but there are strict eligibility criteria and not
everyone will qualify. We work very closely with UKTI and if we can get
you on to this programme, we will.
